blows my mind away!

w0w its december already! what a way to start out the winter officially with the lovely sleet and snow we got…

i think on the radio they said 6inches to a foot were estimated?

well im a survivor of that horrible weather… drove through sleet and snow on I90…and i got home safely ^^

parking was a bit of a problem tho…thats the city for ya

to clarify about “jamaica”…well i guess Captn Chang wanted to be more involved with helping out this specific orphanage

in Jamaica….so this summer..well i dont know details but from things i’ve heard from different people…he wants to send people

over there to build extra houses and i think do day camp there? If i can… i would be so excited to go! i’ve wanted to join the peace corp

since high school…but thats on hold for now… but helping to build houses would be something i’m really interested in. I know its not easy and well

if i get to go i probably won’t even be allowed near the construction… but its all about making that difference….

but i know i can’t go by force or just by selfishness… but that if its right for me God will send me.

This is definitly an unforgettable 2006. And through my trials this year, i have hope that God has some promising new paths and blessings for me in 2007.

i did enjoy seeing the 10sec fight that happened tho near the end lol…

My internet has been down since saturday night…sucks…i dont know how we lived before having the net…

i wish we could go back to thanksgiving week..i enjoyed chilln at home and doing plenty of eating

im pretty excited for jamaica…reminds me back to the bahamas ^^

I never had the time to go shopping on black friday because i was always working..

but this year i went! and oh my… it was craaazzzzy…. i dont think i can even describe the madness that went on…

I went over to Esther’s house thanksgiving night to just play some spades and then one of her friends that were there said he was going to

the premium outlet mall on I88….they were gonna open at  midnight and start crazy sales…so Esther and i decide last minute to go…

it took 30 mins on the road until 4 miles before the exit we got stuck in major traffic for 2 and a half hours… we got to the mall at 3am..

shopped until 6am…went to breakfast and then took a trip to best buy too! I am pretty happy about the good steals we got…

now Esther and I know we need to prepare instead of going last minute next year ^^

It feels like forever since i’ve written a blog.

The weather is getting colder and we’re getting less and less sunlight everyday. The only thing i dont like besides the cold in the winter is that the sun sets like at 4pm. >.<

Time has gone by so fast. I can’t believe next week is the last bible study for the semester. And now kettling season is here. I can’t wait for Christmas. I love the christmas lights and just the whole giving season. I guess i should back up and enjoy thanksgiving first

I realized that during your trials you not only meet God but you are shown the reality of relationships between you and your friends. Its clear about who is there for you during your most roughest moments. Ever since the first friendship that went sour its been hard to open up to people. I guess my guard is always up. But this past month i’ve really been encouraged and blessed by the body of Christ. It’s becoming a little more clear to me why God provides friends. I thought i would be able to cross that finish line to heaven alone, but i thought wrong. When one of us falls, we need each other to pick each other up to keep sprinting.

on another note:

i was happy to see that the Bears won today ^^..they weren’t doing too good in the 1st half..but they really picked it up ..if only i had enough money.. i would actually invest in going to one of their games ^^

and one more note… i thank Captain Cho for the well presented message.. the Holy Spirit really convicted me to question how i saw God in my life. Not just as religion..but as my Heavenly Father…who is He in my life?

wow..its almost been a month since i’ve updated? i think this is the longest i’ve gone without having updated xanga…

i think i am officially getting tired out already.

this is my first time in a while having pop quizzes, map tests, and tests.

well atleast every semester before this year i kept track of my tests pretty good but this semester i realllly need to start writing it down in my calendar.

tutoring esl is kinda harder than i thought. although i did it at krcc..its so different not having a time frame but just starting from the abc’s to conversation skills for 2 hrs a week for 3 people..which actually might become 4 by the end of the month

time is going by sooo fast!! i can’t believe vern is already visiting this weekend! im soooo excited!

melody~~ you gonna meet up with us too? could this be our 1st once a month meet up? ^^

linda and cindy it was great seeing you today!! i had a good time getting random flashbacks of our old days while at outdoor ^^

i dunno why i’m starting to break out again. although i don’t get huge zits.. i already have 2..which is annoying >.<

i didn’t know how much i missed my friends during the summer until i got back.. im starting to experience the fun in life ^^

i feel like its been raining for a month now… i am thankful for the rain but i give double thanks when i see the sun these days

college is college. the tests and quizzes have finally begun.

well..didn’t do so hotly on my china map quiz…but then again ya kno its china not like japan or another small island.

met up miguel yesterday to study! it was great catching up and i really needed study time because i haven’t really had the time to study since school started.

i haven’t taken the train in a while~ so when i got off the train i took a picture of my view lol. well to me i was so happy to see our lovely downtown because i really missed it this summer. it was just an amazing view walking around the uic campus and seeing the buildings like right in front of you.

I had a great weekend seeing my friends and catching up!! im not much of a phone person… but i love meeting up and catching up for hours and hours. This past weekend was days.

Hopefully i’ll have another chance to do it again! ^^

Spanish test on Friday. China quiz the following Monday. errrrrrrr >.<

I’m working 6 days this week. Although the hours are flexible.. who wants to be working on a saturday from 9-12? >.<

Bible study this friday!! i’m so excited for the new book we’ll be reading and the works that God will do in our time together.
